A potential millionaire must be aware of this secret

A potential millionaire must be aware of this secret to truly become a millionnaire turned billionnaire.

“The secret of millionnaire mind is such a great book. It compelled me to actions. I was motivated to start my business after I read the book. My business is now worth billions of dollars”_T.A

We live in a world of duality: up and down, light and dark, hot and cold, in and out, fast and slow, right and left. These are but a few examples of the thousands of opposite poles. For one pole to exist, the other pole must also exist. Is it possible to have a right side without a left side? Not a chance.

Consequently, just as there are “outer” laws of money, there must be “inner” laws. The outer laws include things like business knowledge, money management, and investment strategies. These are essential. But the inner game is just as important.

An analogy would be a carpenter and his tools. Having top-of-the-line tools is imperative, but being the top-notch carpenter who masterfully uses those tools is even more critical. I have a saying: “It’s not enough to be in the right place at the right time. You have to be the right person in the right place at the right time.”

So who are you? How do you think? What are your beliefs? What are your habits and traits? How do you really feel about yourself ? How confident are you in yourself? How well do you relate to others? How much do you trust others?

Many people who come from poor families become angry and rebellious about it. Often they either go out and get rich or at least have the motivation to do so. But there’s one little hiccup, which is actually a big burp. Whether such people get rich or work their buns off trying to become successful, they are not usually happy. Why? Because the root of their wealth or motivation for money is anger and resentment. Consequently, money and anger become linked in their minds, and the more money such individuals have or strive for, the angrier they get.

Eventually, the higher self says, “I’m tired of being angry and stressed out. I just want to be peaceful and happy.” So they ask the same mind that created the link what to do about this situation. To which their mind answers, “If you want to get rid of your anger, you’re going to have to get rid of your money.” So they do. They subconsciously get rid of their money. They overspend or make a poor investment decision or get a financially disastrous divorce, or they sabotage their success in some other way. But no matter, because now these folks are happy. Right? Wrong!

Things are even worse because now they’re not just angry, they’re broke and angry. They got rid of the wrong thing! They got rid of the money instead of the anger, the fruit instead of the root. Meanwhile, the real issue is, and always was, the anger between them and their parents. And until that anger is resolved, they will never be truly happy or peaceful regardless of how much money they have or don’t have.

The reason or motivation you have for making money or creating success is vital. If your motivation for acquiring money or success comes from a nonsupportive root such as fear, anger, or the need to “prove” yourself, your money will never bring you happiness.

We need to find the right reason and purpose to gather wealth, if we desire everlasting prosperity and bliss. We must have achieved an inner state of harmony to truly live a purposeful, healthy and wealthy life.

To attract abundant success, happiness, money, good relationships etc, we must identify our inner constructs that are impeding our growth and success.

However we must remember that the first element of all change is awareness. Watch yourself, become conscious, observe your thoughts, your fears, your beliefs, your habits, your actions, and even your inactions. Put yourself under a microscope. Study yourself.

By achieving consciousness, we can live from who we are today rather than who we were yesterday. In this way, we can respond appropriately to situations, tapping the full range and potential of our skills and talents, rather than inappropriately reacting to events, driven by the fears and insecurities of the past.

It’s all about you. Remember, your inner world reflects your outer world. If you believe you are not enough, you will validate that belief and create the reality that you don’t have enough. On the other hand, if you believe you are plenty, you will validate that belief and create plenty of abundance. Why? Because “plenty” will be your root, which will then become your natural way of being.

Consciousness is observing your thoughts and actions, so that you can operate from true choice in the present, rather than acting on the basis of programming from the past. It is about the power to respond from your higher self rather than to react from your fearbased, “lower” self. In this way you can be the best you can be and fulfill your destiny. But you know what? The essence of this transformation is not just about you. It is about the entire world.

Our world is nothing more than a reflection of the people who make it up. As each individual raises his or her consciousness, the world raises its consciousness—moving from fear to courage, from hatred to love, and from scarcity to prosperity for all. It is therefore up to each of us to enlighten ourselves so that we may add more light to the world. If you want the world to be a certain way, then start with you being that way. If you want the world to be a better place, start with you being better.

That is why I believe it’s your duty to grow yourself to your fullest potential, to create abundance and success in your life; for in doing so, you will be able to help others and add to the world in a positive way. I therefore ask you to share this message of consciousness and empowerment with others.

Get the message of this information out to as many people as possible. Commit to telling at least one hundred of your friends, family, and associates about it or consider getting the secret of the millionnaire mind  book for them as a life-changing gift. Not only will they be introduced to powerful financial concepts, they will learn to observe the way they think, raise their consciousness, and in turn raise the consciousness of the planet.

The dream is that one book, one course, one person at a time, we can change the world for the better. We ask for your support in making this dream a reality.

To continue reading and discover more to achieve optimal success in terms of self development and financial growth, you need to read this book; The Secret of The Secret of the Millionnaire Mind. Read, assimilate and practically apply the knowledge, in no time you will begin to experience abundant bliss and prosperity.

If Dangote,Tony Elumelu, Alakija Otedola, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq etc can be successful, you can equally achieve abundant success and more!! All you need do is maintain an inner balance, reflect this inner peace and stay connected at all times to ProInSafe blog and social media pages.

The connection between health and wealth

The connection between health and wealth

The connection between Health and Wealth.

Health they say is wealth. Nothing can be more factual. Imagine suffering from an headache, stomach disorder, menstrual cramp or depressive moods and in fact these are not serious conditions, yet they are capable of making us be less productive.

Therefore we must achieve an optimal state of wellbeing to function effectively. We must invest in our health, take preventive measures, go for occasional if not regular check ups and of course promptly visit hospital or simply seek health intervention when we observe any form of health challenge.

Don’t wait till the symptoms escalate before you seek intervention. This will not only make you experience rapid recovery, it will as well save you cash. The more serious the illness has become, the more you will spend on the treatment. There are different forms of health challenges; psychological and medical; while the former sometimes is the precursor of the latter, many people take their psychological well-being for granted.

They keep nagging about life and their wellbeing because they lack an insight into the exact problem, sometimes they do, yet they refuse to take proactive measure, which is to visit a counsellor or psychologist. People need to change this orientation to enjoy a quality life and to reach their full potential.

Once there is imbalance within, it surfaces as painful symptoms. To live a happy and healthy life, we must regulate our inner functioning, both our physiological and psychological homeostatic level must be balanced, once that happens we experience sound well-being. The most effective way to regulate our psychological functioning is by maintaining an optimal consciousness, by intentionally and always focusing our thoughts on the present moments, by getting rid of all thoughts that negate the present moments, by carefully watching/observing our thoughts, monitoring our feelings and regulating our actions to match with the current flow of thoughts and feelings.

Once we gain solid control of ourselves this way, we make productive decisions, engage in fruitful actions and live a purposeful life. We no longer live in the past, nurture destructive emotions (resentment, jealousy, anger, regrets etc) nor exhibit dire actions. Our health promptly ameliorates and our abundant wealth becomes a reality.

When our minds and souls are fed with the right thoughts and information, our and pockets/bank accounts proportionally grow abundantly. Our souls, minds and pockets are outstandingly enriched simultaneously

  • Quality Education
  • Adequate Health Facility
  • Effective Leadership
  • Investments! Investments!! More Investments!!!

Quality Education
Education basically involves acquiring knowledge and skills necessary to refine our potentials. Everyone has natural tendencies however quality education helps individuals to exploit these abilities productively. For example, an individual with abilities to make speech will be able to do after learning language, grammar etc.

Education is Education, in fact every form of education must meet the standard of Quality Education. Therefore in this article, when we mention Education, we mean it to be a quality one.

Quality Education simply means effective aqusition of right knowledge and skills that effects self-growth and community development. Right knowledge symbolizes adequate information capable of transformation, that is, the information acquired through education should compel individuals to replace FAULTY cognition (thoughts, beliefs, memories, attitudes, perceptions) and behavioral patterns with PRODUCTIVE cognition (beliefs, perceptions, attitudes, thoughts) and behavioural patterns (actions).

As a saying goes, “what we think, we become.” This simply explains that our thoughts become our feelings which subsequently form our actions. Every information we assimilate must fill our minds with useful thoughts and relevant values necessary to uplift the learner and the society.

Education expunges ignorance, keeps us informed thereby prevents deformation. An individual with talents or potentials will remain incapable or worse still become bad without education to guide and regulate his or her mental functioning.

For example, while at a prison for community development service, it was observed that many of the inmates demonstrated abilities and intelligence but apparently only needed right input from the environment to help them harness their abilities productively.

Education helps us to acquire both basic and secondary knowledge or skills and it can be acquired through various means, as we must note that education goes far beyond the four walls of classes.

We get education at home, in school, learning centres, books, movies, videos, seminars, websites etc., and education involves learning particular subjects, vocational skills, sport skills, computer skills, etc etc

Education because it abolishes ignorance has contributed significantly to reducing many social problems including racism, prejudice, etc., which are caused by human irrational thoughts and attitudes.

We are getting educated whenever we involve in any activity that effect relatively enduring change in our behaviours, which can be conceptualized as learning. We need to learn various things and at various stages of life. Therefore education enables adaptation to our environment.

There are many benefits of education, some of which include:

  • It enhances mental, physical, social and spiritual functioning
  • Quality education breeds quality life
  • It promotes our wellbeing by keeping us informed on what to do and what to stop doing to maintain and improve our health
  • It facilities economic, social, and community development.
  • It enhances our performances, having adequate information compels us to perform effectitvely
  • It helps to actualize our potentials, education equips us with cognitive resources needed to engage in significant activities that provide fulfillment.
  • It helps provide answers to questions and solutions to problem especially through science.
  • It basically facilitate human affiliations, hence it promotes peace and unity.

However everything with a pro has a con. There is no bad to education but on the usage of it. Many people harness the information they have to cause harm to the society. For example, hacking into someone else’s accounts, internet fraud, etc. This however is downplayed when people in the course of learning also receive essential guide and information on how to constructively harness the information they have and on how to benefit the world with their knowledge and skills rather than to cause destructions.

Education is extremely vital by all indications, it raises people’s consciousness about various aspects of the world. With this, ignorance is eradicated hence the room for improvement and development is created. It purges out stereotypes, prejudice, criminal intents and discrimination which have always caused major setbacks in the society. The root of every conflicts lies in the oversimplified beliefs we hold about the “out-group.” (Basheera Ibrahim 2016)

Acquisition of knowledge instill fortitude and diplomacy within people. It helps us to identify a problem and work to discover and proffer a solution to such problem, which is a significant impetus for the evolvement of a community and a country.

Adequate Health Facility
To perform effectively, one must have sound health. Health they say, is wealth. Both physiological and psychological are equally vital to optimal functioning of every human being.

The Government has the responsibility to develop the available health facilities, provide necessary resources and create (and also provide support for creations of) more health facilities in both rural and urban areas. Notable number of standard rehabilitational centres and mental health facilities must be constructed as well. In fact, every hospital must integrate the department of mental health services. This is very vital. It is required to improve the quality of lives and to uplift the society.

Many physical illnesses are triggered by psychological dysfunctions, many individuals are mentally down either they are depressed or suffer from another psychological impairment, we have lost some othersbto suicide. The latter and the aforementioned conditions are the result of psychological dysfunctions. To resolve many societal problems, the cognition’s of the people must be improved, and a mental health worker does it better.

Access to mental health facilities coupled with medical health facilities including and sensitization about mental health will effect better thought processes in people and productive actions, which consequently will foster social change, to reflect sustainable social and economic development of the country.

Effective leadership

Right leaders are significant impetus for every development observed in a society. Right leaders are not perfect but they possess majority of the vital attributes of a leader.A leader must be goal-oriented, selfless, patient, wise, flexible must have plans to achieve his or her goals, must be disciplined, have integrity and good descion making strategy. In addition to this, they must posses relevant skills and knowledge. A sound economic management graduate will function well as minister for finance than as minister for education, a person who studied psychology will perform effectively as minister for youths or minister for welfare than as commissioner/minister for transportation or whatever..

Investments

We need more people to start up businesses. Obviously entrepreneurship is getting better in Nigeria. All thanks to PMB administration. We need people to innovate ideas, replicate foreign lucrative businesses etc. Start-ups should be supported too. There should be more organizations like TOE foundation and PEP. Graduates should be trained with the mindset of becoming employers rather than employees. This will encourage business start ups, innovations and business investments. And with ProInSafe businesses will rapidly grow and becomes sustainable.

10 Ways to Scale a Business from Startup to a Huge Company, According to These Titans

10 Ways to Scale a Business from Startup to a Huge Company, According to These Titans

Growth tips from people who’ve done it successfully themselves.

A mastermind group for top entrepreneurs

Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own.

It’s one thing to start a business and another to scale it. Here are ten tips for massively growing your company from leading entrepreneurs and Advisors in The Oracles who have done just that.

1. Create a sense of urgency.

Grant Cardone

You need three things to scale a business. First, hire well so you can delegate. You’ll never scale if you have to handle everything yourself. Second, pick your battles. Don’t spend days deciding on things like the perfect logo color — your brand will evolve anyway. Focus on acquiring more and bigger customers. You want volume and margin; so start hunting for big game, not mosquitos.

Third, create urgency. Set specific timelines for action and achievements. One of the biggest mistakes businesses make is not operating with enough urgency. You’re in a marathon, but it includes many sprints. Start winning the little races and you’ll create momentum! Grant Cardone, sales expert, who has built a $750 million real estate empire, and NYT bestselling author

Melanie Perkins

Providing real value to your customers is powerful. Its importance cannot be overstated. Offering a solution to a real problem that people care about will make it much easier to run a business.

Canva is proof of this. Within the first month of launching in 2013, we had more than 50,000 people sign up to use the platform. Six years later, we’ve grown to over 15 million active monthly users across 190 countries who have created over 1 billion designs. —Melanie Perkins, co-founder and CEO of Canva, which is valued at over a billion dollars

3. Become a master at selling to your avatar.

Patch Baker

Many people will tell you to hyper-focus on a niche market, like health care or real estate. I disagree. Focus on the process, not the industry. For example, we identified processes for products at different price points, and for one-time services versus monthly services. Figure out a system and a checklist that works. Once you have a process for one industry, you can apply it to others. Then you can scale because your team is doing the same thing repeatedly, so they become experts.

Similarly, learn to sell multiple things to the same person. Get really good at selling to a specific client “avatar”; then you can sell other relevant services to them. Patch Baker, founder and CEO of Mobius Media Solutions; former U.S. Marine, with a mission to help people leave the military today and not feel abandoned tomorrow

4. Focus on operations, belief, and leadership.

Brandon Dawson

First, become clear on the best way to pursue the opportunity. Then, perfect your operations with measurable, systematic processes you can replicate consistently. Understand what contributes most to your impact at a granular and macro level and maximize that in everything you do. This also requires a best-in-class team and concept or product.

Pushing yourself and others to new levels requires challenging your beliefs about how big and impactful you can be. Belief energizes you and your team to work harder and smarter. It is the catalyst to thinking, doing, and being more. Belief leads to action, which leads to results; so the higher you believe, the higher you achieve.

The “secret sauce” that allows you to grow may be difficult to transfer to others; so ensure your people are aligned and committed. Your culture must embrace personal growth and transparency. Align individual team members’ successes with your objectives. Teach them to break through their limiting beliefs so you can conquer your shared mission together. Brandon Dawson (www.bdawson.com), serial entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Cardone Ventures; founder and CEO of Audigy ; host of “The B Dawson Show” podcast.

5. Surround yourself with others who have done it.

Josh Steinberger

Technology replaces roles we once needed to hire for and speeds up the growth process in many ways. But scaling your business in 2019 is no different fundamentally than it was 50 years ago.

My best advice is to surround yourself with others who have done it. They have already been there, made mistakes, and paid the price. At first, you will need to pay to get in the room with them. But the life-long friendships and partnerships are worth every penny. —Josh Steinberger, founder and CEO of NextGen Restoration (www.nextgenrestoration.net); principal in Driven Acquisitions, a holding company that owns and operates apartment buildings in Ohio.

6. Create an irresistible company culture.

Peter Hernandez

An amazing culture creates huge growth. Magic happens when everyone is empowered to “own” their domain. Give your team permission to experiment intentionally and celebrate innovation and collaboration. When leadership asks for coaching from the team, this 360-degree accountability builds respect and camaraderie.

Success requires physical and mental stamina, emotional intelligence, and powerful habits that are reinforced daily across the organization. Clarify why you exist as an organization, then define measurable goals to achieve that purpose. That’s how you become fiercely focused. To truly realize the power of a unified vision, translate it into a shared vocabulary like a mantra, phrase, cheer, or rallying cry. Peter Hernandez, president of the Western Region at Douglas Elliman; founder and president of Teles Properties.

7. Master traffic and sales.

Rudy Mawer

After scaling two businesses past seven figures and helping dozens of clients scale up to nine figures, I believe it comes down to your sales pipeline and traffic. If you can create an unlimited number of potential customers and convert them with a sales funnel, you can 10x your business quickly.

Focus on your team, core product, customer experience, customer service, and internal systems. Once you have those fundamentals dialed in, level up to the more advanced tasks that add up, like reducing expenses, improving the average order value and customer lifetime value, and streamlining automation. Expand horizontally with more offers and vertically by selling more of the 80/20. Rudy Mawer, founder and CEO of ROI Machines and RudyMawer.com; Facebook marketing and ad expert, who built a multimillion-dollar business by age 26.

8. Identify your focus, cadence of accountability, and process.

Sharran Srivatsaa

I grew my real estate business, Teles Properties, 10x in five years before selling it to Douglas Elliman. When I reflected afterward, I identified 37 lessons I learned, including three core pillars: singularity of focus, cadence of accountability, and good process drives good results. This is now part of the foundational formula for scaling that I teach the CEOs I mentor.

Having a singular focus is transformational because it rallies you and your team around a big aspirational goal. Ruthlessly filter everything you do with that goal in mind. Cadence of accountability is about reducing that big goal into monthly, weekly, and daily activities, then tracking your progress to drive momentum. The hustle and grind will only leave you tired and resentful. Systems drive scale, which is why a good process will always drive good results. Sharran Srivatsaa, CEO of Kingston Lane and mentor to top entrepreneurs; grew Teles Properties 10x to $3.4 billion in five years; follow Sharran on Instagram

9. Find a way for everyone to win.

Craig Handley

Our call center business was competing with another company for the same customers. Instead of looking at them as a competitor, we saw them as a partner. Our platform lacked their tools for tracking and measuring results, but our sales performance was better. So we offered to use and pay for their platform if they helped us grow our business. Together we focused on putting the client first.

By doing what was best for the client, we performed better and gave our clients better reporting tools. As a result, both companies generated more revenue than we could have separately. We grew 6,994% and went from 100 to 1,000 agents, making number 27 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies. Going from $3 million to almost $15 million was great for us and our new partner, but we also helped our clients see unparalleled success in the U.S. Hispanic market in the process. — Craig Handley, co-founder of ListenTrust and author of “Hired to Quit, Inspired to Stay”; read more about Handley:Why These Founders Train Their Employees to Quit

10. Think big.

Keri Shull

Have a vision so big that it becomes magnetic and excites your team to help you accomplish your desired results. Then continue to evolve and think even bigger. Culture is key. Create a workplace where people have fun together, support each other, and grow together, and no one will want to leave.

Hire and fire for your vision. In the beginning, I was hiring for survival. Since then, I’ve learned that if you hire ahead of your needs, you can outpace all of the competition. This was difficult for me to learn: you must also make hard decisions along the way. Some team members who are valuable at one point in your business won’t grow enough to stay valuable as you evolve. Don’t wait to let them go. —Keri Shull, founder of the Keri Shull Team, which has sold over $2 billion in properties; co-founder of real estate coaching business HyperFast Agent; named one of America’s Best Real Estate Agents by REAL Trends; connect with Keri on Facebook

Café Culture and Heresy of Yahooboyism in Nigeria.

Café Culture and Heresy of Yahooboyism in Nigeria.

The Overview of the Outrageous Exploitation of the Internet in Nigeria;

Café Culture and Heresy of Yahooboyism in Nigeria.

The advent of Internet technology has significantly improved the state of human existence. In fields as far-reaching as educational research, public administration, commercial and business transactions, industrial production and biotechnological development, and global networking, the Internet offers limitless opportunities. Indeed, affirming that global society can no longer function adequately in the absence of the Internet is an affirmation of the obvious. In spite of all of its benefits, however, the Internet is also used in a destructive, antisocial manner by individuals often referred to by such names as hackers, cyber fraudsters, web criminals, and so forth. In Nigeria—a notable haven for such criminal disposition-they are known as yahooboys.

The Internet has altered the patterns of cultural cleavages, the process of socialization, and identifiable social institutions across varying human societies. However, unlike traditional criminal groups, both males and females are involved in what has been termed yahooboyism in Nigeria, albeit with differing degrees of specialized functions. The culture of fraud and corruption prevalent within larger Nigerian society is believed to have facilitated the institutionalization of yahooboyism as a subset. But such a level of “modernization of criminality” among Nigerian youths has been enabled solely by the Internet; an intrinsically insecure space in which nobody knows who exactly you are.

It has been observed that a café culture is prevalent among contemporary Nigerian youths, especially those living in the cities or in semiurban settlements that off er easy access to modern technologies such as the Internet. Café culture is indicative of an emergent way of life in which involved youths conceive of the Internet as their “everything,” from a school (where they can practice and polish their acts of deceit) to a money-making venture (where they can fraudulently eke out a living, thereby escaping the poverty doldrums prevalent in the country and, ultimately, government and society).

In their café culture, these individuals live practically a virtual life and are more familiar with the developments via the Internet than those unfolding within their immediate “real” society. In a research study by a psychology student (Rukayyah Abdulrahman) at the University of Ilorin; titled influence of excessive internet use on self esteem. It was discovered that many youths use internet excessively that it gradually damages their psychological wellbeing. Despite being one of the most endowed countries (in terms of human and natural resources) on earth, Nigeria remains one of the poorest nations in the world, where the state of the human condition has continued to deteriorate over the years (United Nations Development Programme, 2009).

Unemployment, lack of social support, and the deteriorating condition of the country overall has made the country’s youths a ready tool for the conduct of cogent nefarious activities such as those easily attainable through the Internet. Meanwhile, technological advances such as the Internet have brought astonishing alterations to Nigeria’s institutional and cultural cleavages. Nigerian youths have accepted the Internet as a way of life with unusual speed.

Specifically, the Internet has not just imprinted a potent amendment on the Nigerian culture, but it has irredeemably affected the behavioral patterns of Nigerian youths, evidence of this was revealed in the research study: influence of excessive internet use on self esteem. Ostensibly, yahooboyism has emerged as a result. The phenomenon of yahooboyism could be said to represent a state of “cultural lag” within Nigerian society; that is, inferring from the conceptualized two aspects of a culture: the technological (i.e., the material aspects such as the Internet) and the sociological (i.e., usually theoretical or ideological aspects such as norms and beliefs).

The period of maladjustment when the nonmaterial culture is still struggling to adapt to new material conditions is deemed a cultural lag (Ogborn, 1922). With regard to Nigeria, the cultural lag created by the introduction of the Internet to Nigerian society has provided a platform for the emergence of the infamous café culture, which is set to unproductively alter the developmental process of the country’s youths. Within the larger social superstructure in Nigeria, especially among the political class-wealth, often ill gotten, is worshipped.

In assuming political positions, leaders overemphasize the place of money. Upon assumption of office, individuals flagrantly embezzle public money. As such, the provision of services to the citizenry, such as the training of youths, is neglected. On the other hand, among most Nigerians, money from any source typically is the most potent yardstick for determining the level of existential attainment.

Money rather than a quality education, productive leadership, scientific discovery, or solid career development is the yardstick against which people are measured. Hence, society is exposed to youths who have been disillusioned and have not been taught the good virtue of genuine hard work. Such youth have had no trouble immersing themselves in the Internet phenomenon of yahooboyism. If, as outcomes of cogent observations suggest, the Internet continues to spread and becomes essentially ubiquitous in socioeconomic relations, then Nigerian society will indisputably become increasingly dependent on a fragile and insecure information structure.

As such, our youths’ future is in avoidable jeopardy: The cultural patterns of yahooboyism are bound to be transmitted across generations if nothing concrete is done to regulate its spread and usage in Nigerian society. Of course, the Nigerian nation has been described as a largely unordered society in which rules are sacrificed, integrity is nonexistent, brutal selfishness is appraised (because leaders who embezzle public properties are respected and celebrated) and shame no longer exists for despiteful acts. Conspicuously, shameful acts are celebrated and success is redefined as wealth becomes more significant than the means of attaining it (including self actualization)

Instant wealth, regardless of its source, is usually celebrated among the Nigerian populace. In fact, it is usually equated with smartness and is rarely rebuked. In Nigeria, corrupt practices are characteristic not only of the political leadership but also of other types and levels of leadership. As such, values of integrity and honesty are despised, as there is total disregard for rules and regulations across all strata of society. For instance, at both the household and community levels, respective agents of socialization often tend to inculcate in the children and young adults the value of hard work and integrity, but most often, it is at odds with what they observe the elders themselves doing and appreciating.

The yahooboys use the Internet as a platform for engaging in online fraud. Examples of the yahooboys’ objectionable engagements include selling fictitious goods/services and buying what they will not pay for (or paying in no real value); money laundering; hacking; and engaging in credit card scams, pornography, and unconventional sexuality. Ironically, the yahooboys’ criminal applications of the Internet in Nigeria can be directly linked to the failure of a political leadership (Adeniran, 2006).

Yahooboyism is the activity of online youth fraudsters in Nigeria

This is also linked to lack of regulatory entity that focuses on the cyber space. This is however a changed story with the existence of an innovative organization; ProInSafe which focuses on regulating online business activities in Nigeria. With adequate support of the government and cooperation of credible businesses and reputable organizations, ProInSafe being a lucrative initiative will promote internet safety (therefore business scam will significantly be mitigated) and foster rapid growth of credible businesses. Obviously, ProInSafe exists to empower entrepreneurs. Another great benefit of ProInSafe is that it serves to provide numerous job opportunities, reduce crime rates and facilitate community development through their sustainable empowerment projects.

Out-of-school students (who are not in school because of distortions in the school calendar) and unemployed youths constitute a considerable percentage of the yahooboys in Nigeria. Indeed, they ignorantly but proudly claim that their involvement in cybercrime is a way of getting back at such an unjust social system in a “nonviolent” way. This was discovered in the study on investigating the roles of the failing national leadership and the insecure Internet platform in the emergence of the yahooboys phenomenon in Nigeria.

Transform Your Life and Career For The Best Now

To effectively transform and elevate your life and career you need to read Power of Now By Eckart Tolle.

A beggar had been sitting by the side of a road for over thirty years. One day a stranger walked by. “Spare some change?” mumbled the beggar, mechanically holding out his old baseball cap. “I have nothing to give you,” said the stranger. Then he asked: “What’s that you are sitting on? ” ” Nothing,” replied the beggar. “Just an old box. I have been sitting on it for as long as I can remember. ” ” Ever looked inside?” asked the stranger. “No,” said the beggar. “What’s the point? There’s nothing in there.” “Have a look inside,” insisted the stranger.

The beggar managed to pry open the lid. With astonishment, disbelief, and elation, he saw that the box was filled with gold. The Author of this book-Power of Now is the stranger who has nothing to give you and who is telling you to look inside. Not inside any box, as in the parable, but somewhere even closer, inside yourself. “But I am not a beggar,” that’s your thought. Those who have not found their true wealth, which is the radiant joy of Being and the deep, unshakable peace that comes with it, are beggars, even if they have great material wealth. They are looking outside for scraps of pleasure or fulfillment, for validation, security, or love, while they have a treasure within that not only includes all those things but is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer.

If you seek pure and long lasting transformation, this book is recommended. It touches all areas of your life; your health, career, relationships will progressively improve if you read and apply the words in this book. It draws your attention to what is false in you. It speaks of the nature of human unconsciousness and dysfunction as well as its most common behavioral manifestations, from conflict in relationships to warfare between tribes or nations. Such knowledge is vital, for unless you learn to recognize the false as false — as not you — there can be no lasting transformation, and you would always end up being drawn back into illusion and into some form of pain.

On this level, the author also shows you how not to make that which is false in you into a self and into a personal problem, for that is how the false perpetuates itself. On another level, the book speaks of a profound transformation of human consciousness — not as a distant future possibility, but available now no matter who or where you are. You are shown how to free yourself from enslavement to the mind, enter into this enlightened state of consciousness and sustain it in everyday life.

On this level of the book, the words are not always concerned with information, but often designed to draw you into this new consciousness as you read. Again and again, the Author endeavors to take you with him into that timeless state of intense conscious presence in the Now, so as to give you a taste of enlightenment. Until you are able to experience consciousness, you may find those passages somewhat repetitive.

As soon as you do, however, you will realize that they contain a great deal of spiritual power, and they may become for you the most rewarding parts of the book. Moreover, since every person carries the seed of enlightenment within, the knower within you who dwells behind the thinker is being addresses in the book, the deeper self that immediately recognizes spiritual truth, resonates with it, and gains strength from it.

This book is recommended for your personal development and motivation to actively navigate your life which consequently develop every area of your life.
